Consent-o-matic is about consent forms, so it'll fill the consent forms giving, by default, the least consent possible. If it doesn't know how to handle a form it'll just not auto-fill it so you'll have to do it yourself. It's not just about cookies, they are just one common way to acquire the data. IDCAC will just hide the form, because it was made to hide cookie notices and later extended to do the same for consent forms. According to the law not filling the form, not giving explicit consent, is like refusing it.

Anyway, none of these extension touch cookies directly, they are only about notice and consent forms. It's up to the website to act accordingly. And none of this will do anything about necessary cookies, or more precisely, about any data deemed necessary, however it's collected.

But if the extension is removed from the store you will not get updates.

I can't, I forgot most of it. But a little search returned some results:

But it's also true that sometimes it's not done with a pro-piracy stance but they would just rather have it pirated than bought through key-resellers as these can hurt indy-game dev a lot.

Metadata is data. While we can be pretty sure that message contents are secure we have to rely on trust for the metadata.

I use Signal and trust it way more than most other apps but still, one have to be careful, a state actor could still find ways.

Privacy Badger is useless with uBlock Origin and cookie autodelete is useless with Firefox in strict mode.

ISP DNS servers often lies, depending on your country, a lot do DNS blocking so it's a way to evade basic censorship. Also some alternative DNS can lie in useful ways, for adblocking or malware protection. You can also check mullvad DNS.

Well set and settings is everything with psychedelics. There is a huge difference between a trip with friends at a party, an environment that can feel very hostile while triping, and a trip by yourself in a safe, calm and comfortable place which will ends up much more instrospective. You rarely get profound, lasting, altering experiences with the former.

This is not trying to deny the usefulness of other ways to deal with it, that just one more possible tool.
