Put the same text in 6 different languages (maybe: English, Mandarin Chinese, Hindi, Russian, Arabic, and Bengali to get as many scripts as possible?) on each side of the cube. Be the Rosetta Stone of the future. Be sure to get a native speaker to look over each text before you comission it.

That should be enough work to discourage you. :)

It's absolutely ridiculous how many people drive their kids to school. The traffic reduction during fall break last week was astounding.

If it's anything like fried chicken or watermelon, I assume it's because it tastes good.

My mom was trying to get her GED in the 90's. She failed, but I found one of her essays in the storage shed once. It was about how 1-900 numbers are bad for society because her nephew ran up a $200 phone bill using one.

It was hilarious. For those of you who are too young to remember, 1-900 phone numbers (at least in the USA) used to be pay-per-minute sex lines. I think there were some joke lines and other things too, but it was mostly phone sex.

"Dual boot friendly" means installing Linux on its own hard drive, just so you know. If you don't do that, it's likely the next Windows update will screw up the Linux bootloader. Maybe that's gotten better, but it's what I'd recommended from past experience.

Yes, I get the sound version but it's more likely for me to just be walking in a dream, fall flat on my face, and wake up. But it's more jarring than it should be.

Apparently it's more common in people with sleep paralysis, which I have.

Hey! I found one of them. I didn't have this one as a kid, but it's the same kinda thing. No idea if it works in modern windows but it works in my Windows XP virtual machine.

Oh yes, these states are red because the Republican party has convinced them all to vote against their own interests.

Many may not understand this, but the single most important voting point to most in my area is abortion. The churches have convinced the masses that it is basically the ultimate sin. They will choose any candidate with an R (Republican party) next to their name on the ballot.

They've also convinced them that social programs are for lazy layabouts, and they should be cut. Even if the abortion issue were somehow solved, it would not change much.

It may have something to do with a change in how we teach kids to read in the USA about 20 years ago.
