If you have an account, you can tell it things about yourself. I used my boss's account for a project at work (felt gross). I made the mistake of saying "good morning" to it one day, and it proceeded to ask me if I was going to do (activities related to my boss's personal life - and the details were accurate). I was thinking, "why does he tell it so much about himself?"

What? That's not how a lottery ticket machine works. Part of the front has to be scratched off to determine if it is a winner, even with the machine. I know, because I remember having to scratch this part off myself for customers redeeming tickets back when I sold them. (The part the machine needed was along the edge, and many didn't scratch there.) (This is specific to Tennessee, but I doubt any state used a system where you can tell if it's a winner without anything being scratched.)

I decided to fully convert to Linux on my living room PC because I was convinced these random display drops I was getting were being caused by Windows. (I was right.)

I had a drive that I wanted to leave alone, because it had my videos and music and such. I wanted to try a new (to me) distro, so I just started using high rated ones I found on distro watch. The first two I tried (I honestly forget which) would NOT leave my video drive alone during installation (even with advanced options). The third one was MX, and it successfully installed while leaving my video drive alone. I liked that. I am used to xfce, and I like some of the custom little tweaks that MX adds to it, like easily making custom folder themes. I like that it can install .deb files and pretty much everything I've tried to run so far has worked.

So, yeah, that's why I like MX. I have since installed it on my laptop, my office PC, and my husband is dual booting it. It even runs his v-tube software, which blew us away. I know most of this isn't unique to MX, but it just seems to work really well for us.

I have this mantra that I say to myself. I think it's from Tibetan monks, but I heard it on an NPR interview.

"May we be victorious over our fears.

May we be happy without hope.

May we be of benefit to all."

The fear here is my fear of doing the thing. The lack of hope is what I feel because I will not just fucking do the thing. The benefit to all is what happens when I actually do the thing.

I know it sounds super depressing, but it helps me... sometimes.

I'm not recommending you buy this product, just showing you the type of device which allows this.

I've heard about shortages of the drug. Does anybody know how hard it actually is to make or if they're manufacturing scarcity as well?
