I think it’s important in your 20s to push yourself and know where your ambitions and priorities lie. Checking if your work is a dead end can also signify wherever you’re growing in your skill sets too. What you don’t want is suddenly needing to push yourself later in life having to compete with people younger and hungrier than you. Try young and try hard will help minimise regret later.
Me when I was 12. Around that time two of my aunts also divorced. My dad side a couple more split earlier on too. My generation of cousins and siblings had a running joke that divorce was in our dna. Probably some truth to that.
The idea is the concentration of lithium production can be more controlled (and recycled?) as opposed to leaving gas guzzlers out on the road. Plus the distribution of gas to gas stations and such.
As much as I want an EV. My country is just not set up for a smooth transition to EV yet. Until then it’s best to just not give the auto industry more sales and run what you have until you’re realistically ready.
Makes counterfeiting just a bit more difficult. Like when money started having this. Where I lived getting one of these uv flashlight to check notes was very common back then.
I ended up with a net positive with this game. There’s elements of the story, characters, gameplay and world I love. But certain aspects had execution and pacing problems. Someone mentioned if the story was a novel this would be an amazing read and I absolutely feel it
All the ingredients are there. It was limited by the execution of the game. I personally feel it would’ve been better as an old school pixel rpg.
That all being said. Loved the talent performance, emotional journey, ending etc.
Depends on how old you are. Making friends take two to tango. If the other person doesn’t seem keen it might not be personal. They might just not be in that frame of mind.
Can’t say for yourself. If I was single and childless. I have a remote job so don’t see anyone. But I would start going to company social events. I would pick a social sport so there’s the added bonus of exercise. Wild one but perhaps getting a weekend job. If it’s somewhere chilled with likeminded staff and hobbies. If it doesn’t work you made money and get a dose of socialising if it’s people facing.
I’m thinking book store, music shop or even charity/festival volunteering
I’m liking it. The comments are nice and the content for the most part have been enjoyable. I do miss larger niche communities in reddit. Some really small communities are so small or dead its hard to get it going.
I don’t spend as much time on lemmy as I did reddit. I think I’ve now spent a bit more of that time spread with instagram and YouTube as well.
hides behind tree Hi runs away … dry humps you
Easy.
The start to my house is a little narrow. Sometimes cars coming in have to wait for cars to drive out first. People here always do a little wave of thanks to the first car waiting to come in.
You know where this is going. Almost never the bmw, Mercedes and Tesla drivers. Rude rich fucks.
I think apple is more subtle and long term about it. Microsoft just straight up slams it in your face.
This some kind of bean reference I’m not getting?
In defence of the strangling, I assumed it was a 3 stooges inspired slapstick humour that didn’t have any malice intentions when writing. Def a good call to just end it
