It does, I used to set it up during the time I used Arch, it takes a bit of reading to understand how it works, but works flawlessly once you set it up.

I'd recommend reading a bit more into the GNOME Human Interface Guidelines, your work already looks really good, and it'll likely get even better with their insight.

yeah, proton vpn is the same, this guide is what made it finally work for me personally

Yeah, forgot the Korean term for it, but it's basically potato potato

all the necessary things are already here on the linux side AFAIK the only thing left is a stable release of their drivers with support for it, which should come relatively soon

The whole point of that is make it clear that the dark mode of the app isn't its default state. It doesn't say "dark theme bad", it clearly says just that the screenshots shouldn't only be in dark mode.

Umm, check Lenovo, they are our partners at Fedora as well and have decently priced Fedora-preinstalled hardware as well. The thing with smaller companies is that they have smaller reserves and less stock than the tech giants like DELL or Lenovo.

neither, it uses bubblewrap, snap is the one that uses apparmor

Considering most of Red Hat's drama isn't much more than online drama, it makes sense. Rocky and Fedora are slowly but surely having deeper ties, and the Fedora community is really welcoming to downstreams and projects that use Fedora as a base.

Yeah, you can. I've been using this solution for a while now.

One of RedHat's packagers drops a lot of important packages' maintainership due to management chain decisions. These include:

  • gnome-bluetooth (including Settings panel and gnome-shell integration)
  • totem, totem-pl-parser, gom
  • libgnome-volume-control
  • libgudev
  • geocode-glib
  • gvfs AFC backend
  • power-profiles-daemon
  • switcheroo-control
  • iio-sensor-proxy
  • low-memory-monitor

...and "Kernel work, reviews and maintenance, including recent work on SteelSeries headset and Logitech devices kernel drivers, USB revoke for Flatpak Portal support, or core USB".

In the past couple of days both Pipewire (and with it libcamera) support and hardware video decoding with V4L2-M2M landed for Firefox to work better on Linux smartphones, which development for has started to grow exponentially in the last months. Great news overall for the future of the mobile platform!

Just finished with the first versions of the distro-specific wallpapers and wanted to share this small graphic design project I made, inspired by this Reddit post.

Made with only open-source tools (Krita and Inkscape) and fonts (Cantarell Regular and Bold), and made the source project easily available for anyone that wants to edit and contribute.

Feel free to create an issue or a PR if I missed your favorite distro!
