15% of the total United States GDP is a single company

no, it is not. you struggle to comprehend it because it is not true.

it is comparing different things. one is a valuation, the other is the value of goods and services over a year. the comparision would be with yearly revenue of a company

wow, how lucky we are that the ultimate deciders on litigation are not a bunch of partisans hacks, right?

If he thinks that any positive change in an election year is election interference, then that would explain 2020. Maybe it is not that he wanted the pandemic or that he was too incompetent to just let experts help us. He was too concerned with election interference! /s

Giving people money to rise them out of poverty does buy happiness

Greedily accumulating wealth after you have enough money for anything you could have ever needed doesn’t

It’s also funny because It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is still airing too, and that is massively more edgy than anything seinfeld ever did.

I think that the problem is that jerry want to be edgy and still be considered the good guy. Which is not how Curb, IASIP or even the Seinfeld tv show ever was. They always were presented as bad/flawed people doing bad stuff. You 100% can still do that type of comedy. But you can’t do comedy where the characters are supposed to be good but do bad stuff

If they are using GPT-3.5 and Claude, that means that they are sending the chats to Open AI and Anthropic, right? How can they assure that the chats are private and not being used in training if they don’t control what other companies do?

Edit: ok, they claim to have agreements with them to delete chats within 30 days and they hide the user IP

I guess random, but i really like this alternative to the periodic table:

Because you can see how, after H and He, you do 2 loops of 8 and add the transition metals to the next 2 loops; then you add the lanthanides and actinides to the next 2 loops. And can easily see how the superactinides guy in the extended period table

Vaccines. the original against smallpox was revolutionary, probably one of the most important discoveries of human history. Smallpox was a horrendous disease but we found a way to save the lives of millions of people

And know we have outbreaks of diseases like measles because the vaccines were so effective that people starting to believe that the disease was not so bad and that the risk of the vaccine was greater than the risk of the disease 🤦‍♀️
