You mean the ruling class propagates bigotry as a 'laying of emotional groundwork' so they then have more pull among the artificially privileged (usually the majority) which they can use to back their rule? I've always found it interesting how much the anti-bigotry groups seem to propagate "inverse" bigotry ("rich white men" being the problem), I feel overly cynical to say that they are spearheaded by the same ruling class who are responsible for the current state of bigotry but it really feels like it sometimes.

I don't actually agree that the ruling class are white supremacists because they are white, they continue white supremacy because it benefits them (because they are white), but I'm not convinced that the ruling class would be white if not for white supremacy, at least in the US people have been migrating long enough that without racism I don't think the ruling class would be near ethnically homogenous.
