This is my thought as well. Even if things go well this time, who’s to say they will not feel entitled to come back. Maybe with or without your knowledge.

I’d send them away otherwise I might start getting a regular visitor to my house asking for stuff.

In public, I’m happy to give money or food.

Maybe we took it out of context, maybe they mean that they are logged into their own computer 😂

Even with side loading, you will still be pretty limited as the iPad is decently locked down. First of all it needs a decent window manager. That alone would go a long way.

But honestly, these things should be running full blown macOS when they are docked to a mouse and keyboard.

They had an 11” air at one point, so screen size can’t be the issue.

It stopped working for me with a vpn. They are really pushing people away at this point.

I guess it’s an issue is profitability. I think long term, these companies can’t survive. It really depends on a community support.

Dude it makes perfect sense.

The “so” is the first two letters from the word and the “d” is the third letter. And the “a” is obviously because…..

I think that prison, especially in its current state, is cruel and unusual punishment.

I also believe that a person having a criminal record that follows them for the rest of their life is cruel and unusual.

I also think removing a persons voting rights is cruel and unusual.

So, I’d have a hard time finding anyone guilty.

If you add an item to your cart but don’t buy it right away, you will sometimes see a discount that it meant to encourage you to buy it.

I live in a third would country and the cinema is really cheap here.

They are just as nice as the ones in the states, but they don’t charge a fortune for popcorn.

Additionally, you can bring your own food and drinks.

A few years ago one cinema tried to ban it and their competitor advertised that they welcome outside food. Banning outside food was dropped almost right away.

So, grab a burger king meal, some ice cream and head into the cinema.

Not sure how it is in Australia.

I loved “Planetes” it’s about a crew who does orbital debris cleanup.

It’s been ages since I’ve even thought of this series. I need to watch it again soon.

It’s such an endearing series.

I’m not sure about this one, but my understanding is that steam deck is the only one that can suspend a game mid play and have the ability to resume.

If it were not for that, there would be times where I just don’t start a game because I only have 15 minutes.

Now, I can do a quick ten minute game while waiting for a zoom meeting.

What is the music industries proposed solution?

I’m not paying you a dollar for a song or $10 for a complete CD. Especially if it is the way it is with movies where you don’t really own it, just a license to play it.

I can’t think of a way in which I would pay for music outside of a Spotify like model. Even at that, I’m on my sisters family plan. If I was not, I wouldn’t subscribe.

Maybe I’m just not the target market, maybe I’m cheap. Maybe I’m just not that into music.

But look at the value. A CD is like 90 minutes long and costs $10-20. There are great computer games out there in that price range that also have a sound track. If I have a limited amount of money to spend, which I do, then I’m going to pay for stuff that maximizes my entertainment.
