Yoku's Island Express. Before playing it, I didn't like pinball or search-action games (metroidvanias). I ended up loving it. I still don't really enjoy pinball on its own, but I now have a deep love for search-action.

It's absolutely possible and there are several studies on the subject going back to 2020. Probably a part of why people are getting sick with things like RSV more regularly too.

for the purposes of this survey, Dippy is 100% a tankie. Read it in their own words:

Unfortunately one of the problems with tankies is they don’t call themselves that most of the time.

No I’m not [a tankie].

Dippy's a tankie, you heard it here first. This person loves crushing people with tanks. This person is an authoritarian monster that crushes people with tanks. Dippy's actually the tank driver in the tank man photo. Don't look up the video, Dippy 100% crushed that dude. Any video showing tankman walk away is an AI fabrication.

Wind that shakes the barley is so good

Been playing Dark Cloud 2 and having some nostalgic fun.

I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to right now. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth was the last thing I was really looking forward to. I'm sure something else will pop up soon that I'm excited for.

I don't know about favorite of all time, but I recently watched "The Wind That Shakes the Barley" and it was incredible. An instant classic in my mind and I'd somehow never heard of it. It's about Ireland in the 1920s and stars Cillian Murphy and Liam Cunningham (most people will know him as Davos from Game of Thrones). Beautifully shot and acted.

I can't vouch for it, because I'm waiting for it to leave early access, but as a fellow Peggle fan I thought I should make you aware of the game "Peglin". It appears to be an indie peggle with some roguelite stuff going on.

There's also just SO MANY random and interesting encounters that you could entirely miss. There's the person who lost a ring in a pond, but when you jump down to get it, they assault you. There's the Nord that has been stripped naked and frozen in place by a witch. There's the boots of blinding speed (I loved throwing these on and using the mini-map to navigate the roads).

I also loved the way you had to utilize multiple forms of fast travel to get around. "Okay, if I take the silt strider to Balmora, there's a Mage's Guild that will take me to-". It was a fun world to live in.

And the factions forced you to choose between them. You couldn't do it all with one character, because that wouldn't make sense!

Maybe I'll go get OpenMW and play for a bit again...
