I personally don't see much value of Mint or Ubuntu over Debian.

They all suffer from the same issue: lack of a user repository. This means any layman is going to immediately be turned off by the distro and the whole Linux experience as soon as they want to install something that isn't in their distro's repository.

Neither derivative distro can be considered 'easier' because of this. Might as well just go with Debian and cut out the middlemen.

Wow, thanks for sharing this. I knew about it, but avoided doing it because I didn't have the storage.

I decided to check it out again and see if I could specify a lower amount, and it works with decimal terabytes. I only have 10GB to spare, but it's something!

https://hydrahd.sh/

This is the best site I've come across, but it's still not perfect.

My advice is to keep spending time getting experience using free streaming services. Since very few are like kissanime/cartoon (been around forever, haven't changed layout), if you go awhile without using them then it's like having to relearn what to do.

This is unfortunate, but the more people we have looking at them the better they should be.

"Prominent" is the key word here.

It means he's bothering rich people.

I hope he pays dearly for what he did. Deepfake technology has the potential to do so much harm

Get used to it. This isn't going away. You and your peers will just have to learn how to cite information properly.

Can we have a dropdown menu like we had in the 2000s?

Not sure why we decided removing the scrollbar and only showing the top 8 entries was a good idea.

VMs will crash because of running out of RAM.

It sounds like that's exactly what's happening with your setup, however you probably don't need to buy more RAM to fix it.

Type free, or free -h, into a terminal to see how much RAM and swap space is being used.

Swap is a tool that allows you to use your storage drive as additional RAM when necessary. If nothing indicates swap usage when using free, then you need to enable swap space.

Ask AI "How do I enable swap on Linux" and it should give you good instructions.

Can we stop making excuses for the people trying to take our money from us?

It's been proven there are those willing to do this work for free, so we should cultivate that mentality.

Let's raise standards instead of lower them. Otherwise we're just being useful idiots.

This is an unfortunate outcome, but to be expected by now.

We haven't been hearing anything about Ukraine from the Western propaganda mill; that means there's nothing good to report on because that's how propaganda works.

I've made torrents thanks to the very easy built-in torrent creator in qbittorent.

How can I easily share these with the general public?

I'd like to use 1337x, but they have an approval process and they don't seem interested in people without a proven track record.

It's always excusable to kill rich people.

They only get rich off of the exploitation and suffering of others.
