Makes sense when even adults use phones as a means to escape even a moment of boredom. How many adults use their phones while driving? That's one of the most mentally stimulating things I can think of, and people get BORED.

It's not the most relevant to THIS guy, but in general, a government purposefully separating parents from their children with no means of reunion is one of the named conditions of cultural genocide.

Literally, it's part (e) of the UN Resolution, the 'Genocide Convention.'

... any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
*(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.[5]

We spent so long discussing the legitimate genocide in Palestine, and yet, so little on the damn genocide that has been happening within our borders since 2016.

I feel like it's an eventuality that during a forest fire, misinformed hunters will just be firing rifles at firefighters trying to save their land.

Wait... That already happened?

It wasn't CMU, was it?

I don't even understand what is so offensive about flag burning. It's something teenagers and sheltered young adults do as a feeble form of symbolic rebellion. Genuinely, who cares? It's not like the flag has some kind of mystical power. It's not the original version. 9/10, it's just a cheap copy that was purchased specifically for that demonstration.

I'm a grown man. Why the fuck do I care about teenagers skateboarding in the church parking lot? I got my own problems.

I think it's pretty obvious at this point that Russia is pouring the entire future of its nation-state into keeping Eastern Ukraine and Crimea, so, I think it's probably inevitable at this point given how little international support Ukraine has by now.

Why wouldn't you need troops to stand at that border and make sure that Russia can't just regroup and invade again in 6 years? Wouldn't you call that 'Peacekeeping'?

Minnesota is such a land of contrast. Rural parents will accept a gay son no problem but the second someone mentions a non-Christian, it's World War 3.

I guess, but you will lead a lonely life if you can't find common struggle with people in different scenarios than our own. We can easily lose our soul with these endless purity tests — for some reason, Leftists, progressives, and liberals seem to be constantly on the lookout for the next Jesus Christ, who will just simply energize voters by consequence of, I dunno, magic or some shit.

Neil Young is still a working musician who needs to get his face and music in front of as wide and as general of an audience as possible — why wouldn't they be where people are? That's what makes this stand so important. Homie needs Facebook and Insta and still said no.

Well, it's not like Ted Nugent is writing any new music. He probably doesn't have anything better to do anyway.
