I think it's largely because of Brendan Eich not supporting gay marriage. The browser itself seems fine to me also.

America is almost the last country in the world that doesn't have free healthcare, except for Africa.

Make sure to install plugins like ublock origin. Firefox still supports this and a few other plugins on mobile, like Bitwarden etc.

I think I'm starting to hate "professional".

It literally means playing a corporate role, not being genuine, trying to get connections to make your career take off.

It's not genuine, or warm, or fun... It's just corporate shit. What a world.

Dream Job is such a funny phrase.

I think most of us don't want to work at all.

Indeed. The masses would ruin this place, 100%.

Subscribe to more communities. I have like 50 of them from many different instances and it's always new content. Make sure to set filter to Last Day or Last 6 hours.

Lemmy.world is the largest instance now I believe with tons of communities so start there.

I think it could be a way to get around privacy laws.

Those laws quickly becomes difficult to apply when everyones posts are no longer on central servers owned by meta and instead is copied across thousands of instance owners.

But I think their primary objective is to take on Twitter and get people to use Meta instead. It doesn't cost them much to start experimenting with the tech, and being first somewhere is always an advantage.

People are so gullible. Only now do they see reddit for what they are.

This is also why good poeple can't understand how evil some people can be, and they think they must be misunderstood or it's not their fault or something else.
