I'm with you. I was using Netscape way back and loved Firefox from its inception, and tried to convince everyone I knew to use it. Earlier this year I finally switched to Waterfox, and I haven't looked back. I tried Librewolf first, and it was great, but they don't have an app and that was a dealbreaker for me. Waterfox feels a lot like older Firefox UI-wise, and I love the tab containers.

Yeah, accelerating is fun even in small amounts. It's also really handy to have on highway on-ramps that are really short or people who want to run you over if you're not instantly up to speed. And of course, country roads are free reign for letting loose.

Just one server, but multiple "services" (i.e. Jellyfin, Minecraft, Discord bots, Wordpress, etc). Server is kind of a misnomer there

I am LITERALLY in the process of migrating my servers to my new NixOS server after months of prep work. This couldn't have been more timely lol Funniest part is, I just did my own TPM based encryption on my drives.

I'm glad that the entire millennial generation is just you. Again, I'm a late millennial and I was barely older than 10 when YouTube came out and I was watching both that and Google Video before they were acquired. That stuff doesn't have to be just one generation only.

I'm as late as millenials get and I got a 4 😭 I never recorded radio to cassete, I never rented from Blockbuster, never listened to a boombox outside, and never used a rotary phone. I had the advanced technology of touch tone

Around that age, I remember reading The White Mountains, it's worth considering

Not to mention, the documentation to set it up was awful, it took me months to get it working and I still had problems with the MinIO container so it wouldn't upload attachments or pictures for profiles. Even getting past that, the stack required more containers added after the fact to support voice chat. I gave up when I saw drama go down last year about how the project wasn't fully open sourcing.

It doesn't look like you can draw in your notes, but this looks good! I think I might give it a try.

It was definitely Unity on Ubuntu plus Cairo dock that pulled me out of the Mac life way back in the early 10s, so I'm still sad Unity is gone and Lumiri is basically abandoned from the start. But these days I really like Plasma, as someone who considers the Windows 11 UI to look rather clean (gasp!)
