That reminds me of a distro I used (don't remember which one) that automatically applied a Christmas theme on grub every December. It was really cute, with a tux wearing a red hat (pun not intended) and walking around.
No, to jail the bear!
Do your firewall rules allow you to block your tv's telemetry, while allowing you to still use the internet on it? If so, would you mind sharing how you did it?
Congrats, and welcome to the linux community!
If the margin of error is of 2 points, you can't say that trump is leading, because both are statistically tied. I hate biased journalism.
The washing machine caused some sort of electric failure that damaged a thin client being used as a server
I see that meme a lot in autism communities, and it seems to fit very well. Every time it's posted, it gets controversial between people with low support needs claiming that there's nothing wrong with us, and people with higher support needs, claiming that it's not wrong to seek a cure.
One thing is to explore different ways to do things, like many projects do, but ubuntu goes further and FORCES people to use their experiments, as if they're some sort of testing ground, not as if they're the most used family of linux distros and the one a lot of people rely on.
Edit: Sorry if my tone was excessive, I think I'm getting grumpy with age.
The one with the tree is so cute and makes me feel at peace.
While generally agreeing with you, I would just say that it's a very unjust and biased point of view to say that other media are richer than books.
They're just different media and forms of art. For example, while videos show you things with much more detail and games make you immerse in a constructed world, books give you more freedom to your imagination, which is an entirety different experience.
I wouldn't say that any of these experiences are better than the other, but just different, and different people will enjoy them differently.
I see a lot of people around me asking for smaller phones, from my family to work and friends. Perhaps it's something cultural, I don't know.
But I'm well aware that our perception can trick us in so many ways, and can't speak for itself. I would love to see atual data on phone size preferences around the world.
Still, I doubt that there aren't enough people wanting smaller phones to sustain a market niche.
It would be unrealistic to expect a faster growth. The userbase already used windows and the global linux userbase is small. People don't change habits so easily, and most still don't see a reason to.
