FYI for anyone not in the know, this is the Good Good Good Newspaper advertised by Hank Green

It only consists of "good" news and is very uplifting - generally every print edition features some kind of theme like "animals" or "medicine" or "art"

If you can afford to support, I think it's a great way to encourage more uplifting news in our world

This is something I think about a lot.

Part of me would love to go back and redo high school.or college and just be a better student, learn more, and flirt with girls more (although now that you mention it the age thing would make it weird, you're right). But I end up at the same conclusion - it wouldn't be worth not meeting and marrying my wife.

It'd be so difficult to meet her again (we met on Tinder) and to make it so she's interested in dating me. And then the relationship would be so one sided because I'd know every intimate detail of her past and she'd know nothing of mine.

So, I eventually come to the conclusion that nothing I could do in the past is worth risking her.

Arctis 7 was truly the best headset, I have three pairs at this point. None of them broken - all were purchased because the headset was so good I wanted one for the office and for my wife.

However, Steelseries seems deadset on making worse versions of the Arctis with every iteration. The 9 was altogether disappointing and they are really trying to force all the features like the chat mix into Sonar software instead. Really disappointing.

A Short History of Ireland by John Gibney

Paying a visit to Ireland and wanted to learn some of the history. It's a good book but definitely wish it included pre-1500s history, since it is a more Britain-centric view of Ireland, really. Starts when Britain really gets to colonizing

If it's broken then why no issue being tracked? Is there any issue tracking at all or is it genuinely all through Discord?

I would really recommend using GitHub's features whenever possible, especially for important information like the status of the Android build. Very few people are keen to join a Discord group to find the status of your code or instructions

Its a backdrop for a window well, with a picture of a lake reflecting mountains

I've always found his videos so charming but I really wish they were longer and told a more engaging story. Like his Subway tales

Okay, so your arguments are:

  1. I haven't heard it's a problem, so it must not be
  2. The breed is common and people aren't going to stop getting them so I may as well get another

(1) Is, hopefully, very obviously subjective. Just because you haven't seen a news article about it does not mean it's a problem. And unfortunately, being a couple thousand years old does not come close to the massive amount of time it took the ecosystems to get this way. By Earth's history standards, these cats have been there for a blink of an eye.

(2) Is never a good excuse to do anything. It's group think and it's a massive problem in society. I may as well justify owning slaves because "other people aren't going to stop". You surely see how nothing will change if everyone thinks that way.

I'm very glad to gear you neuter the cat at least. It's at least helping combat the issue a bit.

I just want to make the world a better place, that's all. I'm not trying to attack or shame you, I just want to save the birds (and cats) :(

I would imagine its a case of mutually assured destruction. Neither wants to repeal it because they know once they do, they open up Pandora's box and Congress will be even more of a disaster than it currently is

They're more expensive because they aren't filled with advertising. Consumer TV prices these days are heavily subsidized by brand deals and ad space

Agreed, multiple if statements are much more readable, in my opinion. I generally think switch statements are always just a little too ugly unless their dead simple.

Switch expressions, on the other hand, are gorgeous code (as long as you don't use expression-bodied cases). I am always looking for chances to use switch expressions. So concise
