It is great as a private communication app for a close group. I'm running my own server because you have to trust your server operator with metadata, and because I found random public servers to be too short-lived for sustained usage by non-tech people.

Same when setting up Nagios, after a time you learn fewer alerts is better

This is not a problem in my country, I understand how this can be annoying.

Why do I hear the argument about no .desktop entries in every thread like this? Creating a .desktop file is a requirement for the appimage creation tools to work, and appimaged installs it in the system menu immediately. It's seamless.

Good for you mate. I have no problem sleeping when I can go to sleep around 4am and wake around 12. Guess how well that works for me with a job and a family.

I started by getting shitty jobs like $10/hour that were not enough to sustain myself but good for building work experience and some nice comments in my profile. I can't remember paying anything to Upwork but they were less agressive back then.

In about two months I got regular paying jobs.

No stringing and the layers seem to stick? Magic, I thought these 2 are a XOR

Exactly, same here. Nextcloud is the only container for which I disabled auto upgrades, because I don't always have 8 hours to deal with the aftermath.

Have you seen Waydroid?

Hahahahaha I can only imagine the amount of theft that would happen if somebody opened one here in eastern Europe. Glad that it works in the western world though.

There should be a separate sub for theft-proof solarpunk ideas. Polandpunk.
