Deepfake pornography is super goony but if I had to look for a silver lining, at least nobody had to undergo the actual physical degradation of making porn. It’s still gross in its own way, but it’s a different kind of gross that seems worse in some ways but better in others.

Blu makes some decent phones for pretty cheap. I used the Bold N1 for quite a while. I believe the Bold N2 is out now but I've admittedly moved onto a Pixel since I've had the budget for it.
Those Broadcom wireless cards gave me PTSD. The only way I got one of them working was compiling the raw firmware blobs into my kernel on a Gentoo stage 3 install... I shutter imagining administering that system as my daily driver. It was a good learning experience but I'm not cut out for that level of effort just to surf the web, open some documents, and play DOOM.
