Could the killjoys and permanently miserable go comment on a different sub? This is a supposed to be a wholesome place. I know Lemmy is filled with perpetually angry people but do you guys have to come here and complain about every detail?

I thought this was adorable and cute. Thanks for sharing OP!

Plastic is pretty stable. Since this is an aquarium it isn't get direct sunlight at a rate to make the plastic degrade to the point of polluting the water.

Also, since it's an aquarium, the are already many kinds of plastics involved. The pumps, tubing, filters, and so on all contain plastic that would have a heater likelihood of degrade sure to mechanical action.

I've been saying this for years. Use nice textured recycled plastic. The amount of cool textured and nice feeling materials out there is insane.

Gimme a plastic screen too. If someone is concerned about scratches they can add a glass protector. Those people already do anyway. There are even plastics that could be used that would resist scratches incredibly well.

Then my whole phone is flexible and nearly unbreakable.

Zelda BotW and TotK. I just kind of get board cus the game is so wide but so shallow. I wish I could like it cus there is a ton to like.

Any souls like. They just seem very lazy and the combat is just silly to me.

Just about any competitive game honestly. Part of it is I suck at them but mainly the trash talking toxic communities. Plus honestly I'm not very competitive.

Pokemon. I can't wrap my head around the complexity and "meta" and the story doesn't real matter anymore. I did like my first Pokemon game but that's it.

Most Mario except Mario RPG. I played the heck out of SMB 1-3 but when that was all that was available. When games expanded so did my tastes I guess.

Anyway to roll back firmware on some of these TVs?

Mine was never connected, except once a friend came over and connected it and it updated and now it requires a connection to rename inputs...

It's never been connected since that day either.

Hate this kind of crap.

Legal drinking ages are such a modern invention though. It's kind of funny but a weird fit for sure.

I don't understand what happened with this game...

My bothers and I played it quite early on and it was fine. We didn't stick with it or anything. Just another spot to play together. No one was talking about it or anything.

Then like a year later everyone is going nuts about it. We see it pop-up everywhere.

Give us a spec race so we can compare drivers on even footing.

Or better yet have them race a car that can be rented at that track or locally so that fans can try their hands at "racing against" f1 drivers later with the same vehicle at the same tracks

They have is ways to socialize online (reddit, Twitter, fb) and then people realized they could use them as a tool for good. They could organize, spread the word about bad companies and people, encourage others to do good, and so on. People could even turn on the platforms when those platforms corrupted.

So yeah, the billionaires in control don't like it that we have ready ways to call them out. Elon was pissed about people tracking their flights on Twitter and bought the platform and it's running it into the ground. Why not. He loses nothing and gains everything.

I think we'll see this happen a lot more. Billionaires control everything and then we act surprised when they shut people out that expose them.

Publicly traded companies was just the worst damn idea ever... growth for growth's sake is ruining everything.
