Does it really matter why you aren't drinking? I tend to avoid asking questions like that especially immediately after I find out that is the case. No matter what reason someone has it won't (or at least it shouldn't) change there choice if I know.

Yeah alcohol really sucks. It's so embedded into society most people expect you to start drinking regularly as soon as you can. I think it's getting better but still people are nowhere near as cautious about alcohol as they really should be it accounts for 10% of deaths worldwide, that is just mind boggling.

Do you think most games might perform better on linux in the future? When game makers put more effort towards optimising for linux considering linux has less bloatware etc?

I'm not entirely sure if services like robotaxi are ultimately good or bad. I think it greatly depends on how they are deployed and regulated.

If they governments don't force company's to ensure they make constant improvements and innovation as well as making them cheaper then I think there could be a serious problem when non driverless vehicles are outlawed, making robotaxis the only viable way to get around in car dependant places, companies like waymo will enshitify the hell out of robotaxis making them way too expensive and just barely safer than normal cars in order to rake in the profits as much as possible. I feel like this is a concern in the US especially due to there idea of a "free market" with very little regulation.

On the other hand if companies are forced by regulation to constantly make cars safer and not cost too much then I guess robotaxis could be improve road safety, congestion and a few other problems but by no means fix them.

Yeah OK, so stick with dumb cars for now. Or take public transport and ride your bike because cars just suck in general!

That is insane.

I think there needs to be some legislation done in terms of limiting commercial social media platforms although I'm not sure how someone would go about this. Would they ban social media cites that take peoples data? maybe they should ban cites that display ads? What about making all social media cites to support an open protocol like activity pub or similar so your not locked into using there scummy closed source apps.

Yeah there are a lot although I would still consider myself a beginner at Linux and the terminal so I'm not really sure what the logs mean and which ones specifically I should be looking for.

Wow I can't believe they put in the work to make anti cheat work on linux and then they just removed it.
