I would love to run my main machine off Linux, but none of the software I need in the day-to-day runs seamlessly on it, unfortunately. That's still a pretty big obstacle for me.

Every time I hear her name I'm haunted by that one British lesbian artist who made a horny Hillary Clinton fanzine and sold it online.

I just found a BluRay copy on eBay, no hits on any of my other searches though. Your best bet might just be snagging a physical copy.

Controversial but I honestly really like BlueSky so far. It has its issues, and maybe I'm naively hopeful, but I feel like it's set up to be better than its predecessors. No harm in giving it a go, and it's easy to jump ship if it ends up going down the shitpipe like the other platforms did.

If I have anything more than this on my desktop I get itchy.

"Good results" meaning relevant results? DDG has tools that help fine-tune your search, and if you use them, you'll probably have a better time. I'd suggest giving it another chance.

When it comes to location based services, certain integrations, and review systems, though, unfortunately I'd say Google is still the default, so there's no shame in using it for that sort of thing—just choose your engine based on what you're looking for. Firefox makes it easy.

Wish it was longer.

Isn't it still simulcasting? I might be missing something.

My lease renewal had a required "employer" section that includes contact information for said employer. That's probably one way.

The pictures themselves are fine. It's the fact that the posts are very similar, paid, and pushed to the front of a feed in a time when an ethnostate wearing the Jewish identity is carrying out a genocide on a captive population. It feels, as OP said, inorganic.

Of course the pictures could also be read as a reminder of what Jewish resistance really stood for, which would conversely carry a distinctly anti-Israel sentiment, and the optimist in me wants to believe that. I can't see the comments on the posts, so I have no way of knowing for sure.

I wish. I'm being dragged into the city to a rich girl friend-of-a-friend's apartment and then some sort of club. It sounds like it could be fun, but I'm a grumpy senior citizen at heart

Why won't they let me sleep
