I want a remake of the original Harry Potter 1 and 2 games from the PS1. Not asking much, anything that looks nicer than this would do
I was struggling to find a job and my friend looked at my resume and was like, dude you need to put more bullshit there, add a bunch of stuff, even if it's fake, no one cares, everyone does it. After so much rejection I was willing to try anything, fortunately a company hired me just around those days. But next time I'll probably have to take his advice...
I remember when I got here it was a nightmare for the first few months when I didn't have strong auth. It took several months to open a bank account and you basically can't do anything without that stuff
Oh yes this QR code bullshit drives me nuts back home too
Really nice goal from Switzerland!
This would be the best way. Unfortunately they made it the other way around. A screen at the door shows the code, and you scan it with the app.
In my previous gym the code was on the app, but I'm not sure anymore if it was static or it changed over time. But the reader on the door was awful, I used to spend a good 3 minutes trying different angles with my phone to make it recognize the code.
I agree with this, this is why I haven't really made the switch. Tbh the appeal of the dumphone for me is mostly for the cool and nostalgic feel.
But I do think that making this a "trend" and challenging the norm of the smartphone is a positive thing, and it's nice to see people rocking dumb phones in this day and age.
Yes that's a good point. I don't have a lot of time to play so I try to stick with shorter games as you said in the post. Even if there is replayability I just drop it after I finish it the first time. For that reason I don't play stuff like Minecraft and also rarely open worlds, I've played a few but try to stick to the main story
I've done some experiments where I go out with a quite old Android phone with only Whatsapp and Spotify. I'm liking it so far. Since it's an old phone it's also quite small. The problem is it randomly reboots itself when I'm listening to music which is annoying. But, unfortunately I'm kind of dependent on various apps for various reasons (e.g. work) so I can't really get rid of my "main" Android phone... Sometimes I carry both, sometimes only one of them.
Now I've been considering if I should replace that old phone with something newer like a Jelly, or instead go for something like an F22. Feeling inclined for the latter.
I feel you. And I work in tech (maybe you do too, idk). Point is, I'd need a bicycle AND a career change...
