Bacteria and viruses spread. It's what they do. We need a way to adapt to them. Vaccines are good, being healthy probably helps more. What we need is real food, housing and health care and education. Instead we have arguments about vaccines. Sad really.

Maybe. The documentation is a bit unclear in areas. If you get through the setup script and have the system installed. Its just using the scripts to set up a desktop. Then it really behaves like any other distro.

It opens some weird ideas to the game. If you are unvaccinated, yet previously had the illness and recovered, do you need a vaccine. What if you've been vaccinated and still spread it. What if you can't have the vaccines because if of health conditions. Anger does not fix the problem. We need a compromise, not a rule.

Hey you tried it. That's an achievement. Good job. Sorry it didn't work out.

I have been using alpine on a Chromebook. Its similar to Debian, but is very small. I use sway on Wayland, its not hard to learn, but most desktops are available. If your just playingwithe the laptop, try it out. Following the instructions is not as hard as it seems. https://alpinelinux.org/

I agree. I'm just tired of the concept of profanity. It makes no sense to have words that can be used sometimes and not other times. Like don't swear near a lady, or children. Use the word that means what you want to convey. Someday, it will cease to exist.

LineageOs is basically android without google. You can install the google stuff if you want it, or use open source alternatives like microg. F-droid replaces Google play. It gives you access to all the open source apps that do the stuff you do.

Ubuntu touch is more of a full Linux distro that has been optimized for a phone. It works. Mostly things function, but it is limited. Not a lot of support for mobile type apps.

I've used both on a few phones. I daily use lineages. I don't think Ubuntu is ready for daily use yet. I think with lineages, you could install it get it set up in a few hours. Take a week to find apps to replace the ones your used to. And you would not really notice that your on lineageOS.

My recommendations is to just install f-droid now and start using open source apps instead of whatever you are using. Slowly eliminate all the apps from google play. Take a month to see if you can live without google. If you can, switch to lineageOS. If not, at least you learned something.

It might come loose if you heat the heat bed. At least soften enough to pry it off. The other option would be to finish breaking the glass. Then you could use acetone, or something to remove the glue.

Built by the owner of a greenhouse in a suburb of the city where you could prohibit the sale of land to blacks. They ended up buying 2 more lots and building two more houses. USA, Michigan. Sadly, the title still states that the property cannot be sold to a black or mixed race. Its no longer legal, but the title says it. Other than that, its built well. Almost all the stuff done to the house after the 70s is garbage. Ie. Vinyl siding, replacement windows, counters, plumbing.
