Hahahaha, woops, I had worse photos but none better 😂
...Oh 😅 Yeah I think I can see why now
Thank you!
Yes, sorry. It is a problem that started over the weekend. I thought I had patched it by doubling the server's RAM and adding a core, but that was not enough. Some process is causing the RAM use to spike and the image backend is crashing because of that.
I ordered four of the simpler devices this weekend (LilyGO T3-S3 LoRa 868MHz - SX1262) and I have been reading about antennas.
Since I live in a city I am not super optimistic about the range. But I am still very curious about the concept, and I would love to be surprised.
After doing some search about antennas, I have decided to test the following combination:
-
3dBi 868MHz ISM Band Dipole Terminal Antenna for the LoRa that stays at home:
-
Sighunter 868 MHz to bring with me.
I also have a vector network analyzer (LiteVNA) that can be used for checking antennas, so I will also try to build some antennas myself. I doubt that my custom antennas will approach the performance of the professional ones... But I just find it such a cool concept.
Have you already gotten to play with it? What is your experience so far?
Thanks! Usually I see nice growth during spring and summer, but I find it difficult to get my more exotic plants through the winter. For this plant I want to make an extra effort. I can't find much information about what conditions are optimal or even tolerated by this plant. So I'll need some luck.
I've been suffering from this too in my right ear. In my case it wasn't because of sound, but an infection.
So, I'll add to your advice: If you suspect that you might have an ear infection, go to the doctor as soon as you notice to get it checked out and treated.
Many symptoms are O.K. to sit and wait for them to go away or get worse. Symptoms that indicate an ear infection aren't. The inner ear is fragile, and if you let an infection progress there is a small but reasonable chance that it will cause permanent irreversible damage, and leave you with a permanent ringing in your head. Don't wait.
Also: If you have earwax buildup issues (which can lead to stuffy ears and promote infection), you can place a few drops of olive oil into your ear, wait a few minutes, and then wash it out in the shower. The oil softens the wax and makes it easier to dislodge and remove by the water flow. Don't use any q-tips or stick anything into the ear. You can do this daily over a period of 2 - 3 weeks to clean up your ears. It takes time, but this is a much gentler method than when you go to the doctor and they use one of the more aggressive techniques to flush out the ear quickly. I'm not a doctor, but this recommendation was given to me by my doctor. I suppose a note saying "check with your own doctor" is warranted on this. It is generally common advice, but don't do it if you have a perforated ear drum or an active infection.
When I went through a tough peak of tinnitus I went to four different doctors and tried to read / watch everything I could. This specific video interview of a tinnitus expert provided a lot of insight and was helpful to me, so I think it is a good resource to share: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1nKGOLQiB4

It is too easy to fake e-mails. You can set up a catch-all e-mail domain and spam the registration like that. I am not a fan of giving my e-mail nor collecting other people's e-mails.
My current message contains the following:
Please leave a short message (a sentence or two is enough) stating why you would like to join this instance and I will accept your application as soon as possible. The purpose of this form is to filter out spam bots, not to judge your motivation for joining.
It is not about them writing an essay to be let in. It is a very effective strategy to weed out spam accounts being registered in masse. One step is to make sure that the user made a cohesive sentence that addressees the question, and the other step is to check whether there is a sudden spike of similar new applications. Even ignoring the actual text, it is useful to be able to monitor whether you getting rate-limited bursts of account creations, and having the ability to approve/deny allows you to respond with less effort than if they succeed at creating the accounts.
This feels like one of those chain messages that we would get on Facebook asking us to do something like posting "I don't give permission to Facebook to use my data". Except that this time it is actually true!
I have added "_nomap" to my SSID and now I have to read the manual for the wifi extender, which by default appends _EXT to the SSID 🙄
I would much rather see a "_yesmap" opt-in policy!
