If they did this from the start it might've sounded fine, but now it just feels like they're trend-chasing after Apple Intelligence...

If you'd like to support archival in general, consider donating to https://archive.org/ . They regularly archive books and media that can be potentially banned. It doesn't hurt to download parts of the archive on your machine if you want to be extra sure, but keep in mind the internet archive is massive with petabytes of data.

Rather than actually include their soundtracks on popular platforms, Nintendo graciously offers their own mobile app locked behind the Switch online subscription....

About time. This also applies to their older models such as M2 and M3 laptops.

In the U.S., the MacBook Air lineup continues to start at $999, so there is no price increase associated with the boost in RAM.

The M2 macbook air now starts at $1000 for 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. Limited storage aside, that's surprisingly competitive with most modern Windows laptops.

How many restaurants in general have closed in the last decade though? 20% surviving might not be that bad considering how expensive restaurant biz is, not to mention covid causing massive waves of failed businesses.

This is literally a civilization trade offer

"I offer: 2 meat. You give me: space-age technology I don't know yet."

The fuck? Why? Emulators are entirely legal and they could've won

Digital Foundry has a great video on the subject

Just a lot of visual tricks and sacrifices that people won't notice due to the great artstyle. The textures are really low quality, the game is often foggy to hide how low quality objects in the distance are, etc.

Having to go through the process of merging hurts morale and slows performance. Give everyone on your team the right to force push to master.

"but does your Windows do this?" Followed by rotating the cube. She was like, "I don't care."

Wow, that sums up my Linux life pretty well actually

A lot of people just aren't aware of how fast AI is moving. AI voices were pretty meh earlier this year. A lot of people working on the audiobook/voice acting scene have been talking about this though.

Hahaha, they kept trying to convince people again and again that there will NOT be a hardware refresh any time soon. That was only a few months ago.

I appreciate distro chooser but I'd never recommend a newbie to use it. This just increases their choice paralysis, I chose beginner options and got recommended: Linux Mint, ZorinOS, Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Ubuntu, PCLinuxOS, elementary OS, Xubuntu, Ubuntu MATE, Pop!_OS...

And all of them had pretty much the same check marks. They're good recommendations but this doesn't answer the question, people will just look at the list and say "Okay... Which distro do I choose?"
