This is going to be a pain in the ass for sometime. Almost all the apps that has sell something through google play will use that API now.

private trackers are intended for people who seed for a long time, contribute an upload or do both of them. that's one of the reasons why you can find rare stuff in private trackers that won't be either available or have zero seeders in public trackers.

I am excited to see how this grows since the backend is using java and finally I think I can contribute something.

it still works for you because the external extensions are still working, all we can hope is for those external extensions to work properly until we get a proper replacement.

Really good so far, but can we get back the old "Hide read posts" option back? It was really a handful when I was using Boost for Reddit.

the people who pirate it probably weren't going to buy it anyway

Exactly. For example, you can't expect some middle class kid in some third world country to buy the game they like. Playing games by pirating might make them play their favourite game until they eventually grow to a point where they earn themselves and then they buy the games they like.

P.s) Pirated games all this time but the first game I will actually buy will be Spiderman 2. Really excited to try it out since Spiderman 1 was so fucking good.

I get that developer needs to eat and I kinda fully support it but I think it would be good to have a region based pricing. I think $20 would not be much to a person in US or other first world countries while it would be kinda bit much for people in 3rd world countries (where their currency isn't strong) like India.

I'd guess it's first gonna be used for streaming TV shows

I thought they were already being protected by DRM.
