Will this be the silliest of seasons?

Unfortunately, what constitutes a flood zone is a political issue (as well as a real natural issue). The government tried to change the flood zone line, people freaked out due to how that would affect their property values, and the government walked back on the changes.

My point is really that some people buy property that is not in the flood zone when they buy it, and all of a sudden it's within it.

If I ever do have children, this is one of the things I want to teach them.

Hopefully, it turns into an important memory for them.

Learning about technology from their parents' and how it isn't magic.

don't let the intrusive thoughts win!

It's legal if it's in the sales contract. Usually there is a timeframe.

You should look into Ferrari and their rules. They are even crazier than Tesla for things like this.

Any apps that use local files!

I use it with Logseq for my notes, I sync the camera for my photos, and with Keepass for my passwords

Edit: I guess Vinyl Record Player for my music as well, librera reader for my ebooks, and I'm trying AudioAnchor for my audio books (but I'm not really happy with this one and I'm going to try to find a different app)

I do not browse Reddit casually anymore. Google takes me there occasionally because there is still useful specific information there.

But otherwise I'm all onboard with Lemmy now.

I thought he already said in a lengthy forum post that he specifically would not be talking about it at the next WAN show

I think it's similar for everyone, they become increasingly dreamlike because you remember them like dreams. You forget the details of how you got there, or how you left first, you remember just yourself in the moment just like how a dream is.

I think we all lose the details more and more. And some.of those memories completely fade away.

Well I think ideally that's what different instances should help. I'm on a Canadian instance with a lot of Canadian specific communities. I've seen instances of many other specific countries. That should theoretically counter that whole experience on Reddit
