France amd Spain being +1 is apparently a relic from the 40s when Germany occupied France and the Spanish government felt they needed to switch to appease Germany. It is kinda funny neither switched back.

I am not old enough to give you the answer you are looking for, but i was a big doors fan while in college 15 years ago. from what i learned about jim and the doors, it seems that jim was kinda a narcissist and was deified by his untimely death. Imagine how society would view Kanye if he had died young, though that may be too tough on jim.

i am kinda embarrased to refer you to a bio pic, but i liked the val kilmer one from the 80s. You should watch it if you haven't.

Each camera has its own analog connection wire. I am looking for a dvr box that I can connect to a home server and run something like Shinobi. I currently have this dvr box https://ellipsesecurity.com/product/hdtvi08b-tru-view-hd-tvi-8-channel-hd-security-dvr/ , but i don't think it can automatically forward video to a home server

article says a 77% mortality rate for people flying like that. i wonder if he knew the risks when he snuck on. I can't imagine what -50°C feels like.

My views on things often differ from those in my social circle. I am often bombarded with article links and videos from people with no words of their own attached. It is very easy to send a link. It takes a bit of effort to form a coherent paragraph expressing a single thought.

I would describe this kind of communication as lazy and not very good. I am sure others experience this often as well. I am wondering if there is a proper term for it, or if it is worth trying to coin a term for it.

Yes this village basically exists to give traffic tickets, and everyone else in the area hates them. Talking about building city infrastructure here is kind of absurd. Sure the mayor-judge could start attempting civil projects, but the 226 residents live there because of how things are now.

There are scientists who study ice cores. Every summer a bit of ice in the north pole melts exposing liquid water to the air and interacting with it. Every winter that liquid freezes again. What we are left with are layers of ice that have been frozen in different years. These layers go back thousands of years. With our knowledge of atomic physics, we know what kind of isotopes exist in the atmosphere at certain temperatures. With this knowledge we can calculate the temperature of the earth in years past. We can also measure the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere that was present in the past. With this information we have found the is a direct relation to the temperature of the earth and the amount of CO2 present in the atmosphere.

I am sure someone can explain this better than me, but this is the jist of it.

It has been a couple weeks since i played, so I am not sure if patch 4 has anything to do with it. I have not found any posts about it not working on linux, so i was wondering if anyone else on linux or debian having trouble?

edit: I switched to proton experimental and it works
