Epic is the only solution that didn't need a plumber that gets the toxic stuff that's in my water out, some kind of probably common pesticide or herbicide at like 50x the EPA limit. You can taste and feel the difference. They seem really good. And you never know what's in that water before hand.

May I introduce you to the joys of #define and creating your own horrible sub language

My first cell could use this as a wireless connection to my laptop as a hot spot, circa 2003. Great times. Laser Internet

My fiance was on a movie set that got hit bad and had to shutdown twice, she was one of the only people not to catch it, and was in very close contact with infected. She always wears a kn95 mask. I know they aren't as great but they have kept us both from getting it so far and these newer ones are comfy enough to wear. I'm already heavily disabled and could easily be screwed so we've been careful and are grateful to not have to deal with long COVID. I have friends who lost wives and were in thier 30s. Every time I'm about to loosen up I see something like this article and m just gonna keep a stock of em. The limited effectiveness has been enough for us so far

Yeah I just moved over this week because a recent change started shoveling recommend stuff that just cluttered the feed and broke my browsing setup with ad block and no script. This feels nicer, definitely a cleaner ui. They are just trashing the experience over there

I think it ruins too much. People have tentacles, each part of your personality needs to exercise, whether hobbies or romance or family, but those things don't need to see the other facets of you. It breaks the whole point of having multiple relationships and groups. We aren't just 1 thing and anything that limits us to that through transparent posting of everything publically is just horrible. I quit social media that has my name like 10 years ago. It was shallow and troublesome. I feel a little more isolated but I mean I would anyway at this point in my life

I'm very new to this I thought the point of it was that all the decentralized bits are still linked. Do you mean there are duplicates of communities that are just named slightly different or what?

[-] timetravel@lemmings.world 4 points 10 months ago

I just started browsing here in stead of Reddit because the last ui change just throws recommended trash at me and it's cluttered. I'm still trying to figure out what this is but it seems like decentralized servers that all link to each other anyway?

May I introduce you to the Sega Saturn library. A lot of it is arcade style games, many of which can be beaten in 2 hours or less, but replayed nearly endlessly

Yeah that sounds like some kind of depression. If it isn't medical cause try to get them socializing and into creative or explorative hobbies. If it's medical just be there and encourage them to seek treatment

Waterpik, both between the teeth and then the low power gum one, followed by rinsing with Listerine complete, takes such good care of my gingivitis that I don't even need to get cleanings for plaque anymore. I might scrape some off every 6 months or a year if even. I used to get migraines from it daily, then needed cleaning every 6 months. Total game changer
