I remember being annoyed when PS2 suddenly was a gaming console and not a line of personal computers from IBM.

Yes, I know it's PS2 vs. PS/2 when written out, but no one ever says PS-slash-2 when speaking.

I don't think it's incompetence, exactly. If you're not going to pay for Photoshop (Lightroom, Audition, etc...), Adobe would rather you use a pirated Photoshop as opposed to learning something else. Because even a pirated version helps them keep their stranglehold on the market.

It's the same reason Microsoft doesn't really crack down on pirated versions of Windows.

The only two games I have that I've put more than 1000 hours in are Factorio and Rimworld. I'd highly recommend both.

It's not actually wrong, but it certainly didn't answer the actual question.

I have to say, they really should come up with a different name. Searching and finding the website for a company named "Why!" is pretty much impossible with today's search engines.

Pan Am no longer exists?

I was always a bit impressed by those shuttles. They are warp capable and apparently capable of maintaining warp speed for at least several weeks making them more of a starship themselves than just a shuttle. Not bad for something the size of a large van.

Maybe the bumpers on some of the Ram trucks?

Any of the decorative chrome bits have been cheap plasti-chrome for something like 30 years now.

Junk also tend to accumulate in rivers and lakes. Once it's in there it's out of sight, out of mind - and even if you know it's there it is often difficult to remove.

When it finally gets cleaned up by bringing in the magnet or a barge to dredge it up or whatever, you're seeing years if not decades of stuff that's getting pulled out all at once.

The old Podcast app was simple, it did one thing, and it did it well. YouTube Music seems to be trying to do a dozen different things, and it does a shit job of all of them.

Next year should be 100% Linux for me. Steam is dropping support for Windows 7 at the end of this year, and I don't have any other newer Windows PC to run Steam on.

It'll probably end up worse than that. Turn off secure boot and Windows may still run, but it will no longer verify and all these sites will now refuse to work on your computer. So if you like to run Linux, even dual booting or running Windows in a VM for those things that absolutely require Windows won't be good enough anymore.
