He also has no stake in the company. I'd hardly call that "behind" it.

Jack Dorsey is no longer part of the project.

"Gatekeeping"??? The man is dead. That's not gatekeeping. People don't need more "content", and certainly aren't entitled to it over his family's wishes. There's gotta be a moral floor somewhere.

I disagree as well. I think it'd be pretty obvious to anyone who's sat in each the difference in comfort, ride quality, material choice, technology, and drivetrain refinement between a Corolla and an AMG.

I would still buy the Corolla though for the reliability - or better yet, a Lexus which kind of has both.

Well, I figure "growth" in this case means increased diversity in communities and users. Maybe it's a double-edged sword, maybe the quality decay is avoidable - maybe not, idk.

I just think it'd be cool to see things other than linux, lefty, & star trek memes on here sometimes.

They would start something for the same reason Russia started something in Ukraine.

The goal is that another 50 years go by and they don't start shit.

Gonna be real, this sounds like you just don't know much about networked game programming. As if in the 20 years of the entire industry trying to solve the cat-and-mouse of cheat developer versus game integrity, no one thought of "uuh, lets jusy not tell the client where they are until they r on screen" and realized it was unfeasible.

Sony makes a lot more things than video games. Ever see the prices on one of their cameras?

In the positive direction. Many of the new M3s and M4s, and even the Toyota Supra that they manufacture, have been marketed as making less power than cars that they will easily beat in a drag race.

Ironically, BMW, the company that was charging a heated seat subscription, is also the same company that still lies about its horsepower numbers today.
