There is awful stuff about BPD online. I received diagnosis of BPD and schizophrenia so I know a little about people saying I don't belong to society, but it's only with BPD I found communities telling how monstrous we are. If you recognize yourself in BDP, you are not doomed to be how others describe borderlines. A diagnosis is not a life sentence.

Did you do some research about trauma too?

I found !bpd@sh.itjust.works and !bpd@lemmy.world
They are not very active, but the first one have a recent post. I think you can post in the mental health community and find support and tools too. There may are others communities.

I encourage you to take BPD diagnosis with a grain of salt, and to be careful about it, depending on where you live. While it can be helpful, it can be a heavily stigmatized diagnosis too, even by health professionals.

I'm glad it's helping you :)

In my country we have what we call "day hospital", you come the morning and go back in the evening. I don't know if it's similar or not. It's group activities, like drawing, theater, dance, watching film, philosophy, sport... and it's magically therapeutic because it's with psych nurses. There is probably activities like meditation and yoga now. We have this on half-day "therapies" too but you generally come once or twice a week so it's less intense. For day hospital, you can be there one, two, five days a week.

M4M = Male for male or Man for man, M4Bear = Man/male for bear. So it's a double gay advert

I'm 5, because I'm writing and reading a lot. It makes no sense to have a horizontal screen for text.
