Oh good lord dude.

You witness any bullies when you were younger? What happens when the bully keeps poking their victim, taking their stuff, harassing them, get other bullies to move in with them and their family (well Ok, not exactly a one to one analogy, but you get the point)etc. ?

Eventually they can’t take it anymore and punch back. MAYBE the punch was a bit harder than intended…does this justify the bullies actions to then mutilate, torture and kill them?? Not only them, but their families and loved ones who had nothing to do with the punch? To burn down the victims home, force anyone who had ever associated with the victim to leave as the bully burns down their homes as well?

I would surely hope not.

I’m not familiar with the typical procedure for determining repeat missions either, but if I know anything about management and people in a position of power, it was likely a tantrum they threw after they realized they got bested by someone “beneath” them, and it was their way of coming out on top (at least in their minds) in the end.

“Oh yeah? Well, we’re not gonna allow you to fly into space again! 😤”

Like the time management “punished” me by moving my desk away from my coworkers when I stood up for a coworker’s opinion during a meeting that went against management opinion.

Oh no, you’re moving me somewhere where I’m not gonna be harassed and distracted by my coworkers 24/7?? I’ll get peace and quiet to focus on my work? What ever will I do!

It’s just something to get the upper hand to make them feel more in control. I’ve never seen more immaturity and sensitivity in people than I have with those in management and positions of authority (of course there are certainly exceptions, and there have been instances where I’ve had wonderful managers…but they are a rare breed indeed).

The “signing up for Planet Fitness membership but not actually using the gym” is the real idiot tax. Well, yeah, I guess this one is too.

It’s anecdotal. There are mountains of data and studies now. Still amazes me that people still argue “Oh, well X is bad because I know 1 person who had a bad experience”

I asked chatgpt to explain it…surprisingly not bad:

This is humorous because it suggests that speaking to an automated phone system in a certain way—often out of frustration when trying to reach a human operator—reveals one's true character. It's a playful take on how technology can sometimes bring out unexpected sides of us, especially when it doesn’t work as smoothly as we’d like.

At best, he didn’t know, which means he really didn’t care enough to even check to make sure the money was going to where it was supposed to be going? Like, the ONE thing a charity does? Even so, in 10 years, he wasn’t suspicious at all about not hearing back from these organizations (like a “Thank You for your donation letter”)? He didn’t give a shit about the charity, and used it to flaunt his own brand and ego. And that’s the BEST case scenario.

Worst case scenario he is knowingly committing charity fraud…by using his own Mother as bait. Fucking deplorable if you ask me.
