Also Snowpiercer.
I suggest something from level1techs. The prices are high, but they support DP 1.4 https://www.store.level1techs.com/products/p/14-kvm-switch-dual-monitor-2computer-z5erd-n6mbj
I do this for LAN parties. Easier to fly with a steam deck and portable monitor than my desktop. I'm not looking to buy a gaming laptop just for LANs.
I couldn't wait, I'm already using it for that HDR support.
There's software that can do this for you as well. I pass both input and output over the network with no noticeable latency (via ehernet).
If you're using Linux and pipe wire, this is supported out of the box:
pactl load-module module-native-protocol-tcp port=4656 listen=IPADDRESS
pactl load-module module-tunnel-sink server=IPADDRESS tcp::4656
They're other methods on different OS's, this is just what I use.
Go to a library, some have scanners with feeders that will scan to a flash drive.
I'm interested in Framework's new laptop with an upgradable GPU. That's one my biggest gripes with gaming laptops, GPUs can be outdated pretty fast compared to the rest of the system. I know it has been tried by other companies before, but upgrading is Framework's entire business model so it has a better chance of succeeding then a one-off laptop by a different company.
What does it mean by AMD support is unclear? You just need mesa which is included by default in most distros. Which is clearly included since it supports the SteamDeck.
It's been in early access for awhile, only the first chapter was available to play. The full game just launched.
Yea such a shame since the first has support. A lot of other games published by Paradox has it. Has there been any word from the devs yet?
This. Or if it's low or dirty or just not watery enough.
For future reference, you can update LG TVs via USB so you can avoid connecting it to a network.
