Also, make this app hide the 14 page story at the beginning of the recipe and give it the ability to translate between units for weight, volume and temperature.

It's interesting that you put the blame on the FDA. I'm not in the USA, but the effectiveness of a body like the FDA, the FCC, the EPA, FAA and all the others is directly related to how much money they have available and who is running the department; these are determined by politicians.

In other words, medical oversight depends entirely on whom you vote for and why voting is important. It's the "little" things like this, not the defence or education budgets capturing the headlines that make the difference.

Ever since it became about engagement rather than the right results, the writing was on the wall.

Fortunately this means that there are significant opportunities for search competition. The only thing you need to do is give better results than Google.

Just like all the search engines before Google, it too will become a footnote in the history of the internet.

This.

If you're wondering why, this is the centre of our Galaxy. Of course if you're planning on intergalactic travel, you might have some issues, but before you get too worried about it, exploring the current galaxy is going to take a while.

Edit: The link to the super massive black hole at the centre of our galaxy wasn't working.

If this was my problem to solve, I would host it internally, as-is, on a virtual machine of your choice, then create a a static html mirror version from the public information and put that up on AWS S3 as a static website.

If it's static content, nothing beats an AWS S3 bucket.

I think that every single provider tracks your activity and the vast majority of them use it to optimise their service income from you, either by giving you better engagement, ie. making you use the service more - endless searching for content for example, or by selling the captured tracking data to the highest bidder.

Team Microsoft, reliably unreliable.

Here in Australia, they were attempting to force us to provide Government Photo ID on Airbnb several years ago, we stopped using them instead.

There's a Know Your Customer (KYC) legislation that keeps being interpreted by numpties as requiring that they store these documents, rather than identify the user, create an account and dispose of the documents, which is making these companies rich hunting ground for infiltration by groups wanting to monetize personal data and provide identity theft services.

I'm not saying that the two are the same.

I'm pointing out that you are prevented from using either service offline because they want to track your behaviour in order to monetize your data.

When I clicked on the link I got an annoying "Subscribe Now!" that covered the bottom half of the screen. It had a minimise button. It came back once, but again had a minimise button.

I was able to read the article.

I agree that a summary would have been helpful.

No.

This is that matrix.

Using this method allows you to compare attributes for just two phones and pick a winner, for whatever reason, between just those two

The next two don't need to use the same attributes, again, you're just comparing those two phones and the attributes that matter to you in that particular selection.

By doing this parired choice, each attribute is included in the filter and it's considered within the entire range of attributes and phones.
