I think there will be a lot of push back from hardcore Monero users who want absolute privacy and offering anything else is unacceptable.

I'd counter to say that maybe that works for you but it clearly doesn't work for everyone. We're getting maximum privacy at the cost of user experience and it's causing adoption to faulter.

We all agree that we're not seeing the wave of adoption we'd expect with such an important project. One reason for that may be the sacrifices we've made in the name of maximizing privacy.

Tari is a way to have both, maximum privacy and some compromises that will increase onboarding. All while increasing the XMR hash rate through merge-mining.

Isn't the jurisdiction of the ban is only in the US?

Hey! It's not that simple! There's feces too.

It's likely a choice that was made to add novelty and cater to the American pallet.

It's novel because it's not how it's typically done. It's not done like that normally because they're worse than coins.

Same here.

I like coincards.com. They're not paying me to say that, I've just found their service useful.

I'm skeptical. The source of this image is some random PM to some crypto influencer. With the anonymous nature of Monero we need to be extra careful with scams since it's difficult to verify how funds are being spent.

I'm curious how many 'core team' members y'all can name. I only follow them close enough to be able to name two off the top of my head.

Right? On one hand it's awful the CCS fund was stolen and I hope they catch whoever did it. However, if they're caught using huristics of their transactions then it's a bow against the fungiablity of Monero.

What problems are there with Monero's multisig implementation?

Sounds like https://www.rino.io/ enterprise would be a good fit. No need to run your own node, api access to wallets, and free for the first year.

Same! Having everything built into an app is much more convenient than something like coincards.
