Hmmm. I think it means somethings wrong with your speedometer. I mean it's pointing directly at it.
I think it means your speedometer is displaying double your actual speed. So you can go at a speed that the speedometer says is twice the speed limit, and you'll actually be going at the speed limit.

I followed your advice, now I'm sitting in jail. What did I do wrong?
It's pointing at 100 which is the minimum speed the car expects to be doing.
Really it's just a gentle reminder if you're not driving it right
