Maybe but I do think Rod from God-ing Western built facilities in Ukraine does give Western bourgeoisie some legitimate reason to blink. They have/had all these plans to set up production facilitates in Ukraine and Rheinmetall apparently had a workshop set up in Yuzhmash, the Oreshnik makes them easy game now.
They don't care about Ukraine and losing a facility in such a manner likely just means they get paid for it to be rebuilt again. I don't think they think that's bad.
I'm pretty sure the cruise missiles, drones, Kinzhals and such were already enough.
No, Yuzhmash for example was a super deep underground facility built for nuclear war, regular missiles couldn't do much to it. The Oreshnik can by sending 130 kg chunks of solid metal into the ground at mach 10.
From what I remember hearing, if it hits the ground faster than a few times the speed of sound it actually penetrates less into the ground because it can't deform enough and the part hitting the ground kinda just turns into plasma and "explodes" not allowing it to go very deep. Or something like that...
Could you give your source on that Rheinmetall workshop? I tried to find clear evidence of NATO countries' presence in Yuzhmash to see if there was any truth to the "we're allowed to strike NATO" rhetoric but couldn't find much.
It was something I saw a while back while browsing Slavyangrad, so I suppose that yes it probably ought to taken with a grain of salt.
