ELI5 the Marlboro part? I get that Mitsubishi manufactures just about everything but unsure what I am missing lol
That car is their rally car. The sponsor name on the hood isn't important. It's more that they made mikitary planes then air conditioning then cars and now back to military planes.
What I don't get is the timing.
Mitsubishi began the F2 project in 1996. Hell it was planned in the 80s.
Nothing new for real.
Just Marlboro as a randomly chosen racecar sponsor, I think.
