AC2 had this and I liked it. Going back to that game it felt a little bit like that part needed more fleshing out but that could be more modern experiences talking.

We need to be abke to snd people on contracts, call in apprentices to help and customise a base.

Sure it has, you can upgrade buildings in Monteriggioni an then get passive income depending on how much you upgraded and I think the shops in the town get better

Oh man, really? It's been too long, I seem to have either forgotten or just never did that.

I'd love to revisit the games sometime, but they feel very clunky these days.
