I don't know the specifics about what goes on behind the scenes, I just know that I have probably like 100 physical PS4 and PS5 games that I spent $10-20 each on.

I got Cyberpunk2077 steel book on sale for $15 a while back. I'm talking like right around the time that the next gen patch came out.
