NonCredibleDefense
A community for your defence shitposting needs
Rules
1. Be nice
Do not make personal attacks against each other, call for violence against anyone, or intentionally antagonize people in the comment sections.
2. Explain incorrect defense articles and takes
If you want to post a non-credible take, it must be from a "credible" source (news article, politician, or military leader) and must have a comment laying out exactly why it's non-credible. Low-hanging fruit such as random Twitter and YouTube comments belong in the Matrix chat.
3. Content must be relevant
Posts must be about military hardware or international security/defense. This is not the page to fawn over Youtube personalities, simp over political leaders, or discuss other areas of international policy.
4. No racism / hatespeech
No slurs. No advocating for the killing of people or insulting them based on physical, religious, or ideological traits.
5. No politics
We don't care if you're Republican, Democrat, Socialist, Stalinist, Baathist, or some other hot mess. Leave it at the door. This applies to comments as well.
6. No seriousposting
We don't want your uncut war footage, fundraisers, credible news articles, or other such things. The world is already serious enough as it is.
7. No classified material
Classified ‘western’ information is off limits regardless of how "open source" and "easy to find" it is.
8. Source artwork
If you use somebody's art in your post or as your post, the OP must provide a direct link to the art's source in the comment section, or a good reason why this was not possible (such as the artist deleting their account). The source should be a place that the artist themselves uploaded the art. A booru is not a source. A watermark is not a source.
9. No low-effort posts
No egregiously low effort posts. E.g. screenshots, recent reposts, simple reaction & template memes, and images with the punchline in the title. Put these in weekly Matrix chat instead.
10. Don't get us banned
No brigading or harassing other communities. Do not post memes with a "haha people that I hate died… haha" punchline or violating the sh.itjust.works rules (below). This includes content illegal in Canada.
11. No misinformation
NCD exists to make fun of misinformation, not to spread it. Make outlandish claims, but if your take doesn’t show signs of satire or exaggeration it will be removed. Misleading content may result in a ban. Regardless of source, don’t post obvious propaganda or fake news. Double-check facts and don't be an idiot.

What did he mean by this?
His tinfoil hat is cutting off the circulation to his brain and so he sees conspiracy everywhere.
Information space shaping operation is when mother calls tendies, “breaded chicken cutlets”.
The gist is that they wanted to improve troop morale by showing they care about the troops.
But since nobody trusts what a pelican says in public, they had to made it look like it was a private conversation.
The world is so enraged right now, the whole non conservative sphere right now is just waiting for ever fault trump an make (and he makes a lot, maybe the most) that this was just to tasty of a news line to ignore.
The current gov maybe is full of assholes(personal opinion) but some of them got big by being social media manipulators, they know how enragement works and how it spreads there words.
This has all the optics of fake youtube drama where then someone releases "dm's" to generate more views.
Like if there would have been shit in that conversation that actually endangered anyone, or actually leaked shit thats not public....but no. All the chat does is showing that they like the troops, thats the whole point of the operation, appreciation (any maybe dabing on europe while at it).
Catastrophic loss of OPSEC in exchange for a very tenuous sense of "rah rah military"? I don't buy it.
Hours forward notice of an impending military operation. He could have leaked it to someone in Yemen and compromised the whole op if he desired.
Next you're going to say we can't divulge our nuclear secrets just to accidentally leak when is the next pizza party. We need to keep morale high, and who are you to deny our troops a pizza party?
bruh like nothing in that would have made a difference even if u broadcasted it on Yemens main TV channel 2h before the jets fly in. Its not like they didnt know the aircraft carrier in front of the coast. They have nothing at this point that would be even considered dangerous for those strike packages.
Your Dunning Kruger is showing.
then enlighten me with your massive knowlage, i bet u got the best infos maybe the best infos someone ever had
This pissed off numerous pilots, per other sources, and actually did damage to morale. Adding the wrong person to a group chat is probably the most relatable mistake that could have been made. It was also found that there are other opsec failures. This isn't some n-dimensional chess move; this is just the result of complete idiots.
Edit: "pissed off" not "pissed of"
maybe check your confirmation bias
Showing they care about the teoops by leaking I formation that could have got pilots killed
Genius!
How exactly would the houthis shoot down one of those planes? Like by all accounts they have nothing to do that.
They have anti aircraft missles and have used them successfully.
ok what airdefense do they have and what makes u think they can shoot anything but slow moving big drones with it?
I'm not sure we should be discussing military strategy in an unsecured environment but if the DoD doesn't care I won't either. The Houthis have at least Sa6 and Sa3 Anti aircraft missile system and have employed them against US aircraft. The Houthus also have shot down the MQ9 reapers which are what was discussed in the signal chat. Here's a video of the congressional hearing about it https://youtu.be/BUHCY0b1gG8
bruh Sa6 is from 1967, sure u can hit a drone with that.
"The SA-6/Kub was also used during the 1991 Gulf War. The threat posed by these SAMs led to the US Navy outfitting the ALQ-167 Bullwinkle Jamming pod on their F-14A/A+ Tomcats and A-6E TRAM/SWIP Intruder aircraft." that was over 34 years ago, and EW pods just got better since then.
Those Sa6 are a joke not a credible problem.
They've shot down MQ-9s you really think they couldn't take down an F-18 with advanced notice?
Yeah i dont think they can shoot down a F-18, for a F-18 isnt a MQ-9s and will probably not fly alone or without defensive measures against air defense in the strike package.
