At what point do we admit there's no good will left? Like, who really has any positive thoughts towards WotC as a company in the public?

Like the article points out, there's a list of bullshit they've pulled in recent times. Shit, this D&D One nonsense is starting to feel even more divisive than 4E, and I was slinging books back during that release, I remember the way people acted.

Yea I thought it was kinda goofy that the article frames this as some PR nightmare, like WotC had good public relations until just now.

WOTC has no goodwill. and no one ahould expect anything good from them.

regardless of the situation though, WOTC does have a section detailing what kinds of fan content is okay, which is virtually limited to photos. it explicitly mentions that content should not be downloadable, as well as to not put its IP in other games explicitly.
