What is geoscience?
Geoscience (also called Earth Science) is the study of Earth. Geoscience includes so much more than rocks and volcanoes, it studies the processes that form and shape Earth's surface, the natural resources we use, and how water and ecosystems are interconnected. Why do they all spawn from Africa?
(I get that they don't literally spawn from Africa but there origins tends towards Africa on both sides of the earth)
It borders two oceans. The northern hemisphere pacific ‘canes start from Asia
So does South and North America.
Edit 1: In other words why don't we have hurricanes form off the coast of California heading towards China and Brazil heading towards Africa?
Edit 2: I see now that I north America they form off from Mexico but South America is strangely absent.
It has mostly to do with water temperatures. Tropical cyclones need at least 27°C. Then, tjey can't form too close to the equator due to coriolis force. Some addittional factors play a role, that leave these areas.
Note: It shows December temperatures, meaning that the northern hemisphere oceans would be warmer in actual hurricane season.
