With the brain drain and scientists fleeing to Canada and Europe, it may be European time again.
Not a chance. EU is doomed for decades at least. Deindustrialized, vassalized to the US, expensive energy, war with Russia. They are fucked more than anyone.

Europe thrives via violent colonialism, not scientific advancement; science is more of a China thing
The problem, I think you'll find, is that a lot of those scientists aren't lily white, which is tantamount to a crime in Europe
I'm bearish on EU and Canada. Canada because they are also going through their capitalist realism phase of light neoliberalism party vs heavy neoliberalism party. EU because they want to defund all their social programs to throw people into a meat grinder fighting Russia
