Also wasn't gonna buy one anyway but will pretend to have been excited as hell before the price thing. I'll add that they should make another F-Zero game and have Hideo Kojima write the story.
It gets panned for being a mixed stealth action/racing management sim game.
Watch out snake, that's Paw Monkey!
A F-Zero spinoff focusing on the non-racing side of the characters would be 🔥 tho

I've thought about it some more and other than overthrowing capitalism globally this is probably the best idea on the entire site
I was joking but the more I think of it thr more I'd fucking love to see it. There is basically no cannon aside from the bios of the weirdest cast of characters out there, what is known of the setting is right up his wheelhouse. Hell, he can direct it as long as someone else is there to keep his weird gameplay ideas down. I bet he'd design some sick tracks out of kinex or something for the game like how the first 3 mgs areas were conceptualized with Lego. Just gotta reign in the gimmicks, f zero racing has to be exactly as it's been since n64. Boost power thst drains health that you csn use after the first lap and nothing else aside from being good. Give him a co-dirextor for the gameplay and I think we have something amazing.
I just need a rival named Booster Crashman who has a tragic back story who dies in a crash while boosting

I'd like to see itoi get one more go tho. He's gotta be up there age wise and it would be nice to see another peek into that brain. Also he was a judge on Iron Chef for a few episodes in the 90s, blew my mind.
