Avoid crowds and lines during regular voting day

Get it out of the way early

Just in case you're busy on voting day for whatever reason

I guess it depends on the area.

My voting station is a local school, and it's never been busy.

The early voting station is out of the way, and would be a hassle to get to unless I knew I could vote on election day.

Out of curiosity, because a lot of people sat to "vote early" as if it holds some special significance.
