You can't get it multiple times from the same partner unless it's hsv-1,and even then it's rare after you've built up a resistance to the virus and they'd need to be in an active outbreak.
But yes, you can migrate the location of hsv1, the most common herpes type (incorrectly referred to as oral herpes).
