These kinds of MOBA are largely inscrutable to people who haven't played them for a while. Like 10 years ago or more the Dota 2 International had a "beginner friendly stream" where they explained everything and it managed to get some friends into the game, but it was a rarity.

I'd like to see something like that. I want to at least have some sort of idea what's going on just because it's such a big cultural thing a lot of people are into. Whenever I watch from my perspective nothing interesting will have happened and the crowd will go fucking wild and the commentators are using so much jargon they might as well be speaking Klingon.

I also know that when someone asks if you're a top or a bottom it's funny to say "jungle" and I would like to understand why.
