RULES
- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
- Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
- Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world
- Keep it clean and SFW
- No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

MODERATORS
Album enjoyer here.
The Gathering - if_then_else: I have been obsessed for the last few weeks and I've easily listened to this more than anything else. Here is the first track, 'Rollercoaster'.
Portishead - Roseland NYC Live: First heard this album YEARS ago in a jazz club before watching Saron Gas (who later became known as Seether) do an acoustic set. It's been on and off in my rotation since. Here is a track from this album. 'Glory Boxc.
The Black Pacific - Here Comes the Wave: only recently learnt that this band finally released a second album 14 years later. Haven't decided on any favourite tracks yet but here's 'I Think I'm Paranoid'.
Need to find some new heavy stuff to listen to because I'm getting a little bored of my current selection. Preferably left wing heavy stuff without references to rattlesnakes getting tread on or white power undertones.
