GODDAMMIT now I gotta rewatch DS9! It was difficult for me to get into at first, but I’m glad I persisted.
It starts out really boring and slow, but damn does it get good!
DS9 is my favorite by far. But what I really like about trek is the variety of shows/mediums there are. We've got long arcs and one-off's, comedies and dramas, diplomacy, action, fighting... And if you get tired of watching there are even books!
All very true! It was also much easier to get into than the other star franchise.
