MODERATORS
The game will have one (1) decently fun mission involving mechanics that actually have to do with crime, which will either already have been done better by another game or will be shortly after it releases, buried under a mountain of half-assed satire of American pop culture, a wAcKy CrAzY protagonist that no sane person would ever be able to empathize with, and some shitty tacked on tennis mini games.

That comment was specific to 5. Niko "Walking Anti-war Film" Bellic is from back when they bothered having writers on staff.
I have to assume 5 was some kind of reaction to people who complained 4 was "too serious" or something. But the only game they've put out since GTA5 has been RDR2, which was markedly less wacky than RDR1, which was already less wacky than GTA4 so it's hard to pin down where 6 will land
The best part of any GTA has always been fucking around, and it's mostly the same in every one
